The Kuhlmann family has been working on your “dream kitchen” for generations. A life task that has driven the further development of the fitted kitchen under constantly growing demands. We take over this tradition and continue it in our industrial manufactory in the spirit of our artisan history and work on it every day with great passion.
In the future, we will continue to take on the responsibility that the company’s founders gave us: To produce kitchens that, in the face of an ever-changing world, will inspire future generations just as much as they did almost a century ago.

February 2024
1923
The company RWK® is founded as a joinery by the brothers Robert and Wilhelm Kuhlmann.
1945
Walter Kuhlmann joins the company and begins his apprenticeship. Just four years later, Walter Kuhlmann takes over the family business.
1960
The company grows and concentrates more and more on the production of fitted kitchens.
1970
The industrial series production of kitchen furniture is perfected. Add-on kitchens become fitted kitchens.
November 2020
2008
The company grows and concentrates more and more on the production of fitted kitchens.
2012
In addition to the RWK® brand, the brand “Kuhlmann – Meine Küche. Made in Germany.” will be introduced.
September 2020
2014
Boloni Group, China’s leading kitchen furniture manufacturer, invests in Kuhlmann to offer German kitchen quality in China.
2014/15
The management around Ralf Marohn continues to focus the company on the satisfaction of the German and international specialised trade partners and their customers.
2015
Kuhlmann stands for family values, for product and service quality. Approximately 100 employees work for this on 15,000 square metres of production space at the company’s site in Enger.
2018
Sales are rising rapidly, so that the location in Enger is too small and a new production location is being sought.
Purchase of a new location in Löhne.
2019
The company moved from Enger to Löhne. The production area has doubled and the exhibition area has tripled. Productivity and material flow can be significantly improved at the new location in Löhne.
